Omfg, I feel like killing something. As much as I love this comic, sometimes I feel like it's a big waste of time because it's not getting me anywhere in life. It's too much effort for something that is purely for fun. I'm kind of tempted to ink all these pages and briefly wash them with ink, like those old Rembrandt drawings, but then you'd probably have no idea what's going on. :/

@ toasted jelly: Thanks for commenting! Glad you're here. :)

@ blau tag: Haha, I never thought this story could actually have any suspense quality, but you make me think otherwise. ;)

@ yuuki: Nah, he doesn't have an accent. He's Russian-American. If anything, he speaks Russian with an American accent.

@ grufflemonkey: Hey, why I have seen you on LJ! Good to see you here and thanks for reading! <3

@ ewroin: YOU ARE ALIVE! <3

... oh my gosh! a pat of the shoulder = the very first glimpse of progress, is this the good doctor's first sign of affection? It's very suspenseful! I'm constantly wondering when dr. mcdreamy alex and/or victor will make the first move ... i'm dying over here XD

~~edit : as for the killing this comic thing, that is in fact entirely up to you, i'm going to be honest this comic is really the only reason why i come to this website the rest of my favorites have crashed and burned~ or just not getting anywhere~
1.) you're an amazing artist if you think you have an opportunity to pursue something which you feel you benefit more from, well who are we to stop you?
2.) although you feel this is a waste of time it's probably one of the best stories about due to it's great plot and art, perhaps if you wish to feel more accomplished you could look into printing it? i'm sure many people (myself included) would be interested in purchasing it~ not only would you have a completed graphic novel, you would have even more of an accomplishment...

3.) going back to numero uno, seriously stop and think, where do you intend to go in life? do you benefit from this? is this a source of confidence and happiness?

I've gone onto a monster rant i don't even know anymore my eyes hurt... i should probably end this with "you have many adoring fans, you yourself are a inspiration to those who watch this comic, you are free to think your thoughts, however you must know, this is not a *waste* of time, you bring a smile to our faces whenever you update... yes i've totally confused everyone now... i'll shut up now~

edit;; when I wrote this my vision was blurred and my eyes were killing me, so heads up i'm sorry for my spelling & grammatical errors

Do what you want to do in regards to the comic darling.

But keep in mind you can always go to publishers like Lulu to collect, print and sell the comic.

Also after 30 updates you can start trying to get money from Project wonderful. Set up link exchanges too and you'll get more traffic which will earn you more money from Project wonderful. ^^

Or run a campaign yourself for banners.

And you can always have a donate button and put up special wallpapers for $1 donations etc.

There's quite a few ways to try and get money from a webcomic. The more successful it becomes, the more people will support it.

To keep this purely for pleasure, then keep on as you are and update when *you* want to and feel like it.

I love inkwash pages. No joke, they look great. But what you're doing now is great too. And not getting you anywhere? Sweetie, if you said you would print this book, I would buy it before you even had the 'buy here' button ready. And you're doing this for you, remember? Well you know my feelings about all of this. Just keep being you. And don't worry, the MCAT won't go anywhere like I said :>

PS: I sniggered a little at the tough guy remark. So cute. /end fangirl

Rembrandt is awesome, and I wouldn't mind it as long as the dialogue is legible :B

DON'T GIVE UP! You should make a book. I'd buy it.

I usually don't comment 'cause I don't have an account here, but I had to say SOMETHING in response to your comment! Please don't give up! You are a FANTASTIC artist (I mean WOW) and each update is a beautiful continuation to what I believe to be a beautiful story in the works. :) Reading this comic is a gift, and I would hate to see you give it up. I understand the work you put into it must be ridiculous, so it may be asking a lot, but I know that I, and others, would hate to see this end. D: Maybe changing the update schedule would help?

It's most certainly not a waste of your time - but you've got to do what makes you happy! If the comic isn't doing anything but frustrating you, it's time to make a change. I would vote not stopping completely (*puppy dog eyes*), but perhaps taking a small vacation or adjusting the update schedule.

I agree with the above commentators - you should consider publishing this, it's absolutely gorgeous!

Whatever you decide to do - just don't stop writing and drawing. You've got a gift!

Seriously, this is my favorite comic of all I'm reading on this site. It is truely unique! :3 that said, I love this comic and I hope you continue. I know myself how frustrating comics can be, especially when you feel you get nothing in return. :/ Also, if you did look into publishing this, I would buy it. :D
